We want to play an active, positive role in the Church of England. To do this, we are required to keep a ‘Mission Initiative Roll’ listing all those who consider The Light Church to be their spiritual home. Those on the Roll elect our representatives to the Deanery Synod (which makes decisions about local churches) and they, in turn, prayerfully decide who will govern the wider church. We aspire to play a Godly, active role in seeing the Good News of Jesus Christ proclaimed across our region, and this is one way we can do this.

The size of the Mission Initiative Roll determines contribution that The Light Church gets to make to this.
